Sand Beach & Great Head Trail
(Click on an image to view it full size...)Monday afternoon, after our visit to Cadillac Mountain and our bike ride around Eagle Lake, we drove over to Sand Beach and hiked up Great Head trail. This was our first taste of hiking in Acadia, and we loved it! (Great Head is fairly steep 1.4 mi. hike with awesome views of the harbor.)
